Mr. Aitken has received breath tech training on the Intoxilyzer 5000C and also on the Intoxilyzer 8000C – these are the breath testing instruments used by police. Very few lawyers in Ontario have such training and this knowledge is of great assistance in defending DUI clients.
Since studying at Queen’s University where she obtained her undergraduate degree in Political Science, Jay Nadarajah has been devoted to serving the needs of the immigrant community through her numerous volunteer endeavors. Immigrating to Canada at a very young age, she has developed a passion for helping this segment of society.
Mr. Marchand is the newest lawyer to join the team at Aitken Robertson. He currently practices in all areas of criminal law, with a focus on drinking and driving related offences. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2010 from Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. He then went on to receive his Juris Doctor law degree from Western University.
Mr. Boeve attended the University of Toronto where he graduated with a degree in Science and continued to pursue his interest in psychology while achieving a Master’s degree. After receiving his Law degree, he articled with the Ministry of the Attorney General in Toronto, where he had an opportunity to prepare appeals to both the Ontario Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada.
Mary-Clare MacKinnon joined the Aitken Robertson Team in 2015 to assist the firm with their bail hearings in courts all across Ontario. She brings many years of decorated experience in the field of law to the table, all the while, having a background in music and education.
